Cut canvas This would be a good idea to maybe try - would like to put coloured waxed paper, or a light fabric (maybe dyed silk) behind, and a light.

Glue snowflakes, just add glitter (I think I will make these this year and have a trail of them lead the kids from this bedrooms to the Christmas Tree on Christmas morning)
